Priest Bass Fishing Forum Rules

Welcome to the Priest Bass Fishing Forum.

Our goal is to provide anglers with a place to talk fishing, share information, help one another, discuss tournaments, buy and sell fishing-related items, and enjoy the fishing community.

Priest Bass Fishing supports open discussion and freedom of expression. We don't expect everyone to agree, but we do expect everyone to treat others with respect and follow these rules.

1. Respect Other Members

Disagreements and different opinions are welcome. Personal attacks, harassment, bullying, threats, intimidation, or repeatedly targeting another member are not.

Debate the subject — don't attack the person.

2. Keep Politics Off the Forum

Political campaigning, partisan political arguments, political debates, and content primarily intended to create political conflict are not permitted.

There are plenty of places on the internet for politics. The PBF Forum is here for fishing and the fishing community.

3. No Racism, Hate Speech, or Discrimination

Racist, hateful, or discriminatory content will not be tolerated.

PBF welcomes anglers from all backgrounds. Treat people accordingly.

4. Freedom of Expression

Priest Bass Fishing supports freedom of expression and open discussion.

Members are encouraged to share opinions, experiences, and ideas and may respectfully disagree with PBF, tournament organizations, moderators, other anglers, or one another.

The PBF Forum is a privately operated community. Participation is subject to these Forum Rules, and PBF reserves the right to moderate the forum and enforce these standards.

5. Age Requirements & Minors

You must be at least 16 years old to create or maintain a PBF Forum account.

Minors must have permission from a parent or legal guardian before creating an account and must confirm during signup that they have received that permission.

Users under 16 are not permitted to create or maintain a PBF Forum account.

Parents and legal guardians are responsible for supervising a minor's use of the forum. PBF may restrict or remove an account if it reasonably believes the user does not meet these age requirements or has not obtained the required permission.

Users should never publicly share sensitive personal information, and minors should use additional caution when communicating with other users, including through Private Messages.

6. No Threats or Illegal Activity

Do not use the forum to threaten violence, encourage illegal activity, facilitate unlawful conduct, or intentionally place another person in danger.

7. Keep It Reasonably Clean

Normal adult conversation is understandable, but don't abuse it.

Pornography, sexually explicit material, excessively graphic material, or content that is clearly inappropriate for the PBF community is not permitted.

8. No Spam, Scams, or Advertising Abuse

Do not post spam, repetitive promotions, deceptive links, scams, or misleading advertisements.

Accounts created primarily to spam, deceive, or defraud members may be removed immediately.

9. Fishing Businesses, Guides & Organizations

Fishing guides, tackle companies, tournament organizations, fishing-related businesses, and other members of the fishing industry are welcome to participate in the community.

Commercial promotion must remain reasonable and may be limited to designated areas of the forum. PBF may restrict excessive advertising or require approval for certain commercial promotions.

10. Buy / Sell / Trade

Members may buy, sell, or trade permitted items in designated areas of the forum.

All transactions are strictly between the buyer and seller.

PBF is not the buyer, seller, broker, guarantor, or party to any transaction and does not guarantee the identity of a user, accuracy of a listing, condition or legality of an item, payment, shipping, delivery, or completion of a transaction.

Members participate in marketplace transactions at their own risk.

Scams, fraudulent transactions, stolen-property listings, intentional misrepresentation, or attempts to deceive another member are prohibited and may result in immediate account suspension or removal.

11. Protect Personal Information

Do not publicly post another person's private or non-public information without permission.

This includes private addresses, phone numbers, financial information, private communications, account information, or other sensitive personal information.

12. Photos, Posts & User Content

You are responsible for the content you submit to the PBF Forum.

Only post photos, videos, writing, or other material that you own or have permission to share.

You retain ownership of your original content. By posting content to the forum, you give PBF permission to store, display, reproduce, format, and technically process that content as reasonably necessary to operate and display the forum.

User-submitted content represents the views of the individual user and does not necessarily represent or receive endorsement from Priest Bass Fishing.

13. Information Posted by Members

Fishing reports, lake conditions, boating information, tournament information, mechanical advice, product recommendations, fishing techniques, and other user-posted information may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated.

PBF does not guarantee the accuracy of user-submitted information. Members are responsible for evaluating information and acting on it at their own risk.

14. Fishing Reports & Fishing Spots

Nobody is required to reveal fishing spots, waypoints, ramps, patterns, techniques, or other fishing information they don't want to share.

Do not harass or attack another member because they choose not to disclose a location or other fishing information.

15. Tournament Discussions

Members may discuss tournament results, tournament rules, organizations, decisions, anglers, and fishing performance.

Criticism and disagreement are allowed, but discussions must remain civil. Do not knowingly spread false information about another person, tournament, business, or organization.

16. No Impersonation or Account Abuse

Do not impersonate another angler, business, tournament organization, PBF staff member, moderator, or any other person or organization.

Do not create additional accounts to evade a suspension or ban, manipulate conversations, artificially increase reactions, mislead other users, or otherwise abuse the forum.

PBF may restrict or remove duplicate or abusive accounts.

17. Private Messages

Private Messages are provided for communication between forum members.

Private Messages may not be used for harassment, threats, scams, spam, illegal activity, or other conduct prohibited by these rules.

Users may block and report other members.

Private Messages should not be considered guaranteed confidential communications. PBF may access, preserve, review, or disclose information when reasonably necessary to investigate reported abuse, protect users or PBF, operate the service, comply with applicable law, or respond to valid legal process.

18. Report Problems — Don't Escalate Them

If you believe someone is violating the rules, use the Report feature.

Do not turn a disagreement into a larger fight because another member broke a rule. Let PBF moderators handle reported problems.

19. Moderator Authority

PBF moderators and administrators may move, edit, lock, hide, restrict, or remove content when reasonably necessary to enforce these rules or protect the community.

PBF may issue warnings or restrict, mute, suspend, or terminate accounts depending on the circumstances.

20. PBF Has Final Moderation Authority

No written set of rules can anticipate every situation.

Priest Bass Fishing reserves the right to determine whether content or conduct is inappropriate for the PBF Forum and to take reasonable moderation action when necessary.

Finding a technical loophole in a rule does not prevent PBF from addressing conduct that is clearly abusive, fraudulent, disruptive, dangerous, or harmful to the community.

21. Content & Account Availability

PBF does not guarantee that forum posts, photos, Private Messages, accounts, discussions, or other forum content will remain available indefinitely.

Content may be removed or lost because of moderation, account actions, technical problems, maintenance, system changes, or other circumstances.

Members should not use the PBF Forum as their only storage location for important information or photos.

22. Copyright & Intellectual Property

Do not knowingly post copyrighted material or other intellectual property that you do not have the right to use.

Copyright owners or their authorized representatives may contact PBF to report content they believe infringes their rights. PBF may remove or restrict access to disputed material when appropriate.

23. User Responsibility

Forum members are responsible for their own posts, messages, listings, transactions, communications, and actions.

PBF does not endorse or guarantee user-posted content and is not responsible for agreements or transactions made independently between forum users.

Additional terms governing use of the PBF website and forum are contained in the PBF Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

24. Rules May Change

PBF may update these Forum Rules as the community grows, new features are introduced, or new issues arise.

Continued participation in the forum is subject to the current Forum Rules.

25. Use Common Sense

Not every possible situation needs its own rule.

Don't use the forum to harass people, scam people, intentionally disrupt conversations, create unnecessary problems, or harm the fishing community.

Treat people the way you'd expect to be treated at the ramp.

Free Expression & Community Standards

Priest Bass Fishing supports freedom of expression and open, respectful discussion. We believe anglers should be able to exchange opinions, experiences, and ideas without unnecessary censorship.

PBF is a privately operated community and reserves the right to establish and enforce reasonable standards for participation. Racism, hate speech, threats, harassment, personal attacks, illegal activity, and other abusive conduct will not be tolerated. Political campaigning and partisan political arguments are also not permitted.

Our goal is simple: give anglers a place to speak freely, talk fishing, help one another, and enjoy the fishing community without allowing the forum to become a place for hate, harassment, politics, or abuse.

By participating in the PBF Forum, users agree to follow these Forum Rules.
